Futaoki
A futaoki is used in the Japanese tea ceremony. This piece was commissioned in 2001 and presented to a tea master in California. The futaoki pictured above is in mokume of sterling silver, copper and brass with the inside being sterling silver.
Mokume can be used to make a variety of objects both functional or decorative.
