Mokume Metal Teapot

In April of 1998 the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, TN presented an exhibit, “Knock on Wood: An American Mokume Invitational”. I was one of twenty invited artists exhibiting work in mokume gane at this exhibit. This teapot was made for that exhibit and is now in a private collection.

This teapot was also included in the book, “Teapots Transformed – Exploration of an Object” by Leslie Ferrin

Teapot sterling silver, copper and brass 6"x7"

Objects such as this teapot are very time consuming and labor intensive; therefore, I limit the number of commissions I take. I enjoy making teapots and other larger items in mokume and would be happy to discuss making one for you. If you are interested in discussing such a project please call or email.
